Dish Special Edition: Madame Chocolat, Rustic Canyon, Stone Fire Pizza

We like to reserve our dishiest Dish for the end of the week, but hey, it's the holiday season. Consider this a tin of cookies to get you through the Monday afternoon slump.

(1) Madame Chocolat: Beverly Hills gets a new gilded chocolate shop, just in time for the holidays. Hasty Khoei is the madame of Madame Chocolat; she trained with master chocolatier Jaques Torres in New York. The shop is perfectly BH, all gold-leafed ceilings and such. Specialties include bon bons and truffles, chocolate-covered Cheerios, chocolate-covered candied lemon and orange peel, chocolate-covered pretzels, cashews and almonds, and chocolate-covered Eater LA. Oops. Sorry. We got caught in a chocolate-covered daze. 212 N. Canon Dr., Beverly Hills. [EaterWire Inbox]

(2) Rustic Canyon: After our post about the soon-to-open Rustic Canyon in Santa Monica, a reader writes in to say, er, it's open. "I drove by Rustic Canyon last night and it was open and packed. Their website is now up and running too." 1119 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica. [EaterWire Inbox]

(3) Stone Fire Pizza: All of a sudden, pizza is the food of choice for every Angeleno. We hear that Stone Fire Pizza from the peeps behind Spanish Kitchen (across the street) and the Belmont "did a soft opening two weeks ago with a private party. They are going to have more private parties through the holiday season. Let's see if it can hang with the Mozza hype." Open only for parties through December, the restaurant should open to the public the first week of January. 829 N. La Cienega, West Hollywood. [EaterWire Inbox]
