Looks like final touches—like taking down the former Indian restaurant sign—are happening for All' Angelo, which opens next Friday, January 19. Owner Stefano Ongaro (Valentino, Enoteca Drago, Il Grano) exclusively gave us some early details in December: Mirko Paderno (Trio, Dolce, Bridge) is the chef; there's more than 25 different wines by the glass; the space has lots of Italian marble, chocolate browns, and light-colored wood. What's most impressive is that Stefano kept it quiet until we tracked him down, and that he said it will open in January... and it is. Dinner will be served every night but Mondays. 7166 Melrose Ave., 323.933.9540.
