We'll be the first to admit: We're kind of shocked that Table 8's parent company said the restaurant will reopen on January 18, and it actually is. Not that we doubt the Meridian Entertainment Group's word; we just know how these things go. But it's official: This Thursday, Table 8 shows off its new Thomas Schoos design and more lounge-friendly concept. We hear it's VIPs only before 10pm, but later, it will open to the public for cocktails. Hottie executive chef Govind Armstrong will surely be in attendance, unless his new Miami restaurant is in desperate need of his services. Table 8 is currently accepting dinner reservations for Friday and beyond.
