LA CHEFS TALK MICHELIN

With just a few short weeks to go, LA's more notable chefs wish upon a Michelin star?or two. Wolfgang Puck doubts anyone will get three, hoping for at least two for Spago. Two for Melisse would make Josiah Citrin happy, but one will do. Mark Peel brushes off the whole ordeal, claiming the guide "is a bit of a fish out of water here." Do they have half stars? Chefs get the word on November 12. [San Diego Union-Tribune/ELA]
