SF Chronicle food critic Michael Bauer just can't catch a break in LA. Variety's Dana Harris calls him out---tears him a new one, really---for his take on the LA restaurant scene, and reading it through the eyes of the Los Angeles Times critic S. Irene Virbila, or from his high 'keep the celebrity chefs away' horse. This isn't the first time Bauer gets skewered, and we're sure it's not the last. But he's certainly not making any friends with the bloggers down here. Bauer, don't you get enough attention at home?
