CULVER CITY: We've had our plywood eye trained on Ugo Italian Bar, what we thought was a simple gelateria adjoining the cafe. Turns out it's oh so much more. An early report declares it an authentic Italian bar serving espresso, gelato, pastries, salads, panini and most authentically, liquor, and lots of it. Employees even speak Italian, grazie. HOLLYWOOD: It's been open softly for a few weeks now, but this Friday, Lift starts serving all day and all of the night. Although it's open twenty-two hours, not the twenty-four we were originally promised. Scratch this one off our 24-hour TrendWatch. [6533 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, 323.469.1848]
