Eater Inside: 15

Alen Lin, 10/28/07

This is 15, a new Eastside spot that looks like our friend's dining room but with table service, which is very low-key, and seasonal "gourmet comfort food." It's not five-star dining, but once everything gets rolling, it should be a nice addition to the Echo Park scene. People seem to like the three courses for $15 deal, choosing from dishes like corn-dusted calamari, kobe or portobello burger, and braised short ribs (5p to 7p only). Gentrifying Echo Park? Perhaps, but once 15 gets its liquor license (owner Rick Huschitt hopes either this or next week), who can complain. More reading on Metromix.
