We hear from a tipster that Don Dickman has left Matteo's:"The guy sure doesn't like to hang around for very long." We called the restaurant to confirm, and 'tis true; Rocca alum Armando Parada has taken the helm at Matteo's, which will continue the menu Dickman put into place. So after he closed Rocca, Dickman threw a strike at Valentino and another at Matteo's, so let's expect a changeup: Maybe he's looking for his own spot again? (See what we learned watching the World Series last week?) [Eaterwire]
