Fake Foodblogging For the Sake of Blogging

New, 1 comment

Once again, the Los Angeles Times sets the bar for being at least two years behind everyone else. New York-based Regina Schrambling finds out that, hey, this blogging thing is a snap! The Knife takes her and the food section to task for the non-story: "Reggie! Stop it, please! The internet is a powerful and occasionally scary place, although not so much that there was any point to you creating an anonymous (!) blog with a name like FoodFake."

What's funny is that Schrambling has criticized bloggers before, and she's just now dipping her toes in? Is the Times really that behind the times, only writing articles for an aging demographic? Or is it a much savvier move to incite bloggers for viral rants? Eh, that might be stretching it.
