With all the hubbub going around about how many stars New York chefs lost or gained, LA finally gets to the party. We have the official release date for the first Los Angeles Michelin Guide: Chefs and media (and invited guests of launch party) find out who got starred and who didn't on November 12. Contain yourselves, chefs. Everyone else: Place your bets on three stars, two stars or no stars in comments (thanks Taste-Buzz).
On November 14, the LA guide debuts to the public. To commemorate, a panel discussion and book signing will be held at the Grove Barns & Noble with Jean-Luc Naret, director of the Michelin Guides, and Bon Appetit editor-in-chief Barbara Fairchild, LAT's Leslie Brenner, and KCRW's "Good Food" host, Evan Kleiman. Another key date is November 15, when the Las Vegas guide debuts (Nov. 16 to the public).
