No, no. We're not giving one of our Deathwatchees a reprieve, but it seems the ABC has. Hadaka Sushi on Sunset has a brand new full 47 liquor license, which can really mean one of two things: (1) The restaurant might have a chance for survival if it can start selling vodka instead of shochu in the Spit and Swallow (basically a mojito), and overcharging for it; or (2) if it is on the market, the price just went up about $80k, which could maybe make up for some of the money the owners lost in the gamble. Either way, real liquor martinis and margaritas are not enough for us to take it off the DW.
