Catalina, owner of Catalina Bar & Grill, insists her club is not for sale. In an email response to us, she says, "Maybe there is confusion some place or maybe just sounds like this club but it is not. So please make sure that this nonsense doesn't go anywhere." Er, oops. We apologize for spreading rumors, but looking at the real estate listing and the club's website, verbage describing the space is almost identical. If someone wants to sell the club, maybe the word isn't out yet, especially to the owner.
UPDATE #2: A reader just sent this in: "Huh. If catalina's not for sale, then someone is using photos of it to sell another upscale jazz club." Huh, indeed.
