Thanks, Monkey
Moving on to today's Plywood, we have reports on the soon-close-almost-there-on-the-verge-of openings around town. See something about to pop? Kick it.
Hollywood: With a subject line like, "3rd horseman of the apocalypse seems to have joined Starbucks and Pinkberry," you will most certainly get our attention. What reader Monkey refers to is D'Lush, a "sensually hip beverage joint" that's taking the world by storm via Southern California malls. With non-alcoholic drinks under menu names like Naughty, Hot & Steamy, and Chill-Out, this 'tween's dream will be in the Beverly Center, Irvine Spectrum, Third Street Promenade, Grove, and Westwood next. Culver City: We have official license signage up at Sang Yoon's new Father's Office outpost in Culver City. According to Bree at Triplecreme, the space is on Helms, next to Jazz Bakery, in the H.D. Buttercup building, across from Beacon. (Enough landmarks for you?) Not much else happening in the space, but we're sure construction will begin soon. If anyone stumbles past, pictures are welcome. Century City: Those CAA suits trolling for a good time near their shiny new Century City offices will soon have XBar at the Park Hyatt, an indoor/outdoor, lounge/small plates/fire pit on patio restaurant. Coming this March. [EaterWire Inbox]
