In more downtown news: Sipping a Summerland Pinot at Culver City's BottleRock last night, co-owner Adam Fleischman told us that he just signed the lease for a second location downtown. The new wine shop and bar will be located right next to the Palm Steakhouse near Staples, which will be a boon both for locals and sports fans/concert goers looking for something a little more haute before chugging Budweiser at a game. No opening date set yet. More deets from Adam: "We will be opening a 4000 sq ft space in the Met Lofts Bldg downtown, next to the Palm and the Staples center, and the LA Live (when it is done). Opening late summer/early fall. Same concept, just bigger and more modern. More retail and hopefully spirits, too."
