Buried in this news roundup, we learn that Eurochow has an alcohol license transfer notice hanging in the window. Back in January, we knew it was for sale, and it looks like someone bit. Name of new owners: Yamato Enterprises LLC, which owns a local chain of teppan and sushi restaurants (Yamato) in Agoura Hills, Valencia, Encino, and Laguna Hills. The company also owns conveyor-belt Kura Sushi in Costa Mesa and soon Huntington Beach. Eater placed calls to find out which will take over Eurochow---sushi or teppan grills or both. Stay tuned.
