WEST HOLLYWOOD: You can drive by and see that the esteemed L'Orangerie has been a construction site for the last few months. It closed at the end of last year, and the Nobu group swooped in to take over the space. But the entire project has been quite mum until now: Nobu West Hollywood is hiring all front and back of the house staff as we speak. The Craigslist ads say a "high end, world renowned Japanese restaurant" is hiring, so how do we know it's Nobu? Oh...we know. Expect an August debut, which seems right on the mark. Another outpost will open in San Diego's new Hard Rock Hotel in the fall.
