WEST HOLLYWOOD: See, it wasn't just our behind that hated those black chairs at Bastide. We hear Joe Pytka got so many complaints that he decided to change them immediately, and the restaurant's only been open two weeks. A reader saw movers unloading them yesterday, even as guests arrived for dinner. We hear they're wicker, sort of like the old chairs (the outdoor ones?), and that even without the pads (still on order) they are much more comfortable. Now what will Pytka do with all those hard, metal, small-seat, 80's-looking black chairs? Brownie points, or maybe just brownies, to anyone who sends a snap of the new ass-happy seats.
