The corner of Alvarado and 7th, where Langer's Deli has sat since 1947, will be designated "Langer's Square" in honor of founder Al Langer tomorrow. Langer passed away at the ripe old age of 94 in June. 1st District Councilmember Ed Reyes, Norm Langer and family, various other city council suits and fans are expected at the dedication, after which everyone should quickly convene for salty, delicously greasy pastramis on rye. To Al!
