Sort of. We just found out that Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen sous chef MaryAnn Salcedo has been exec chef of Neomeze in Pasadena for the last four months. When the restaurant opened about a year ago, we thought it would quickly go the way of the typical Old Town spot---close and become a Cheesecake Factory---so this move could mean staying power, but no one knows for sure until tasting the Mediterranean-inspired menu. Sidenote: Do you think she wakes her chefs up by hitting a giant pot in their bedrooms every morning? That would be awesome.
