Plywood: Crudo at The Sunset

New, 6 comments

WEST HOLLYWOOD: Last night we spotted new signage on the former Norman's spot announcing that Crudo will open this spring. From a press release, in passing:

"Crudo, an exciting new venture from Antonio Alessi, owner of Hollywood hot spot Fred Segal Mauro Café, is also slated to open in the coming months and will serve “raw” takes on Italian dishes featuring seafood, beef and vegetables in addition to classic Italian fare."
This confirms the rumor we heard at Taste of the Nation last June. Not mentioned: Alessi also once owned Alessi's, now home to the Mozza empire. Additionally, the Sunset Millenium complex is now called The Sunset, and that new H&M next door looks rad.
