When the East Coast's Five Guys landed in Carson, it caused quite a stir with the burger-eating cognoscenti (customizable burgers, better fries), but for many Carson is a haul for a fast food burger---even one that rivals LA's beloved In-N-Out. A second Southland location will open at the Cerritos Promenade in November (probably around the 17th), which is surely good news to some. But out of the 30 SoCal locations the company swooped up for franchisers (28 more to come over the next five years), we're still holding out for one closer to us. [EaterWire]
