We got this tip weeks ago but tracking the whereabouts and news cycle of Josef Centeno gets exhausting so we kind of forgot, but the chef consulted on the new menu at Bar Celona in Pasadena, a restaurant that, quite frankly, never really had great food. If the kitchen can consistently whip out a good tapas and things like octopus salad with white nectarines or butter-poached prawns with kabocha squash puree once Centeno moves on, this will be good for Old Town. And with chefs Brooke Williamson and Nick Roberts consulting with nearby Neomeze, things might finally be picking up in the Dena. (46 E. Colorado Blvd, 626.405.1000) [Eater Inbox]
