Some insight on one of LA's beloved sushi nazis, courtesy the WSJ: "Mr. Nozawa says he ejects about one customer per month. Actionable offenses include taking too long to eat -- the restaurant only has 21 seats and it's not fair to people who are waiting, Mr. Nozawa says -- and pestering him with requests to use a cell phone." Nozawa adds: "It's for people who don't have proper sushi-eating etiquette. Those are the people I'm hard on," and that after 45 years of experience, he's allowed to do things his way. [WSJ]
