Launches & Releases: Another New Citysearch

New, 2 comments

As our brotha to the north points out, Citysearch has a new look and functionality today. So what's new? In addition to a sizable expansion into 75,000 towns and neighborhoods (as opposed to only metro areas), there's Facebook Connect integration, which basically means that you can see what your Facebook friends have reviewed/recommended. There's hope that these new moves make it more user-friendly and socially-networked, to stay ahead of a smaller upstart competitor called Yelp. But perusing the new Los Angeles homepage has us stumped: Why are all the "people" 10 years old and love Taco Bell-like tacos and Slurpees? Compelling, CS. Very compelling.
