HOLLYWOOD: The Hungry Cat will host a three-course dinner for SEE-LA (Sustainable Economic Enterprises of Los Angeles) to benefit the long-awaited Farmer's Kitchen, the community teaching and retail kitchen planned for the the corner of Selma and Morningside Court, adjacent to the Hollywood Farmer's Market. There have been many, many delays for this project, but it's finally supposed to open this winter. The dinner takes place on Dec. 9 (5:30pm; $75 per person); call the Hungry Cat for ressies. WEST HOLLYWOOD: It's just easier getting behind the dining deals with booze: At One Sunset's Tuesday Tastings, there's a five-course menu for $45 per person, and for $1 more, it comes with a bottle of wine (limit one bottle per two people, but still). [EaterWire]
DOWNTOWN: And in more booze news (chalk it up to a bad economy), 213 Inc.'s Casey's, Cole's, Broadway Bar and the Golden Gopher will toast the 75th anniversary of Repeal Day on Dec. 5 with 75-cent Dewar's until 11pm; after 11pm, there will be $5 drink specials. [Eater Inbox]
