If we pieced all of the clues together correctly---tips from Eater commenters, a neither "confirmed nor denied" from CEO Doug Zell himself---this is the new location for the Intelligentsia on Abbot Kinney. It's the former Scentiments space, wide and big, with a brick-walled patio/entryway. Over the weekend we noticed that the appropriate plywood is up and construction is definitely underway, so things must progressing. While others suggested that it would open by November, that simply isn't happening (obvs), and since the Sunset Junction location was delayed (supposed to open in April, finally bowed in August), the Intelli folks are keeping mum about hard dates for now. We'll place early bets on late January, early February, however, if all goes as planned.
