The former Riot House, the Hyatt West Hollywood, has been rebranded Andaz with a new restaurant and lounge in the works: 82/Sunny. The name, according to the hotel's manager, is "more than just a superficial lifestyle..It’s about the soil ... the weather here produces some of the best produce in the country." Which means the menu will be seasonal, market-to-table, California cuisine with French sensibilities from chef Sebastien Archambault. 82/Sunny will seat about 120, have an open kitchen, communal tables, and a separate entrance unlike Chi and whatever came after it. The Andaz opens in January. [Daily Dish]
