The second location for Culver City's BottleRock has been in perpetual plywood status for quite some time now. We first heard about the wine bar in early 2007 with a tentaive fall 2007 debut and then pushed to spring 2008. There was minimal progress this summer, but we get official word that the wine bar and retailer will finally open in January. Above you'll see the renderings and the reality---lots to do, obvs. Situated on the ground floor of the Met Lofts (around the corner from Rivera), the new space will have the same offerings as the original, but even more space, wines and menu.
