Several industry experts offer up food and dining trends for 2009. What we'll be seeing or, in some cases, already are: all-day breakfast menus; more offal; noodle soups; more "east meets west" and Middle Eastern cuisines; ethnic takes on poultry; spaghetti and meatballs and apparently the under-used tarragon will make a strong showing. For hotel restaurants: fewer celebrity-chef driven restaurants, more bistros; seasonality and market-to-table cuisine; lounge/lobby dining; and more freebies. [Hotels Mag]
