The Dish: Carbon Beach Club, Allora Cucina, Mosto Enoteca

MALIBU: The restaurant at David Geffen's Malibu Beach Inn has quietly opened to the public. Up until now you had to have a room to dine at the Carbon Beach Club Dining Room, but now anyone can go for the mostly pedestrian seasonal California-focused fare (the dinner menu), but hey, that view. MID-CITY: The long-vacant Zen Grill space finally has new life: Per UrbanDaddy, Allora Cucina Italiana opens for dinner tonight. Owner is Fabrizio Maati who used to own La Finestra in Tarzana; there was also word that another owner used to work at Ago.Expect Italian classics, pizzas, take-out, but no wine yet (no corkage if you bring your own.) MARINA DEL REY: We caught wind of Mosto Enoteca from Triplecreme, who's been in twice already and pretty much loves it. Only six weeks old and open in the same strip mall where Killer Shrimp was, the Italian menu, small plates, pastas from scratch and nice wine list seem to be hitting all the right marks.
