EaterWire: Sir Keller Art, Mission Cantina Adds Lunch, LA Grand Cru Beer and Bike Ride

KELLERDOM: Earlier this week, Eater NY asked its readers to send in a visual representation of The Laundryman at his most heroic and/or divine. (And we thought haikus were creative.) As you can see, you've got Thomas Keller as a samurai, as Jesus and Mary, and as Napoleon. And believe us, that's just the half of it. From Moses Keller to Obama Keller, the full slate of submissions—and contest winners—are here. [ENY via Eater SF]

HOLLYWOOD: The Mission Cantina (next to Delancey at Sunset and Tamarind) starts lunch service on Monday (Dec. 15). Chicken mole or smoked pork tacos, burritos (new) and margaritas will now be available from 12pm-2am (Mon-Fri) and the usual Sat-Sun nights. [EaterWire]

BEERS AND BIKES: Hot Knives, an L.A.-based beer and vegetarian food blog, is hosting their second "LA Grand Cru" beer-bike ride on Saturday, Dec. 20. It's a 22-mile bike ride that starts at Union Station and will hit four of the city's best beer stores---"from a secret 7-11 to high-end liquor emporiums." Riders are encouraged to buy a bottle of beer at each stop thus stimulating the economy and having a tasty quaff for later. The ride ends at Verdugo Bar in Glassell Park for a keg party and Pure Luck vegan snacks. A $10 donation is required (so not really a 'donation') to go to the beer supply. Begins at 11am.
