And back to the do-good-ing side of the season, this year's Menu For Hope campaign is under way. The gist: Food bloggers offer prizes for the Menu For Hope raffle, and for every $10 donated readers get a virtual raffle ticket to bid on a prize of their choice. The list of goodies will update as more come in, but so far there's O Olive Oil butler trays, a food stylist workshop here in LA, a Cuisinart ice cream maker and more. The event, now in its fifth year, raises funds to support various worldwide causes; the event raised $100,000 to help the UN World Food Programme feed the hungry last year. [Mattbites]
