Cora, Samuelsson in the OC

For those who adore Cat Cora, her quick-serve barbecue restaurant opened at Macy's at South Coast Plaza yesterday. Recall that CCQ (Cat Cora's 'Que) joins Nancy Silverton's La Brea Bakery and Marcus Samuelsson's Marc Burger; all three with the same kitchen, staff and seating. Flackage from the Macy's Culinary Council (which also includes other big names like Govind Armstrong, Todd English, Wolfgang Puck, Ming Tsai, Rick Bayless) describes CCQ as "classic barbeque with flavors from around the world"; Marc Burger is pretty much what it sounds like, a gourmet burger menu; and of course La Brea Bakery is La Brea Bakery.
