More New Hotel Dining

We stumbled upon the table for Fig Bistro at last summer's Taste of Nation event, but new details are finally rolling in: The restaurant will open in the Fairmont Miramar hotel in January; it's named after the giant, more-than-100-year-old fig tree that fronts the property, also used in the restaurant's logo; there will be a wine and charcuterie area; and the menu is surprisingly similar to that of another SM brasserie only .4 miles away.
