New, 1 comment

BRENTWOOD: Coral Tree Cafe closed due to fire in September and will finally reopen in late January with a few changes. The walls have been retouched, the seating area renovated, the patio has more benches, and there's a new fireplace inside. The cafe will also add a seasonal dinner menu. [EaterWire]

HOLLYWOOD: The newish Shin Korean BBQ added lunch hours for take-out and delivery only. Things available: Korean short ribs, marinated spencer steak, spicy chicken or pork, vegetable medley or spicy tofu stew, all are $10 and come with rice. The delivery area extends from Beverly to Franklin and La Brea to Western; free for orders over $20. (Tue-Fri, 11am-2pm, dinner hours the same; 323.464.4100). [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN: And now that the people love the bacon donuts, Nickel Diner will have dinner hours soon. Currently only open until 3:30pm (Wed-Sun), owners Kristen Trattner and Monica May will give 11pm a trial run "in a couple weeks." [Angelenic]
