To support World Water Week (March 16-22), a slew of Los Angeles restaurants are encouraging their guests to donate $1 for the tap water they normally drink for free. Hey, it's filtered, relax. The money helps children around the world get safe drinking water---one whole dollar can get a kid 40 days of clean drinking water in a place like Mudtukadu, India. Participating restaurants include Abode, Craft, BOA Steakhouse, Lucques, Honey's Kettle Fried Chicken, Ortolan, Ocean and Vine, Wilshire and many many more. [~ELA~]
