36 Hours in Pasadena

It's not even Rose Parade time and the NYT finds their way to the lovely 'Dena. Although she says, "There’s a depressing number of fast-food restaurants in town, serving the same grub found in any American mall," the author finds herself having burritos at El Toreo Cafe, pastries at Europane, burgers and pie at Pie 'n Burger, Italian at Gale's, and bistro fare at 750ml, which of course is in South Pasadena, but what's a suburb over to the New Yorkers.
