BEVERLY HILLS: Matthew Gladstone just started as executive chef/director of culinary operations at the Luxe Hotel on Rodeo Drive, replacing Michelle Francis, who just started in at the beginning of the year. Gladstone swears he didn't know exactly what he was getting into when he helped launch Happy Endings in Hollywood, and he left after only a few months. New menu should start this week. [EaterWire]
