Top Chef Aftermath

Grub Street has an interview with Top Chef castoff Erik Hopfinger, who was ousted for his poorly rendered gourmet tacos and his sad, soggy corn dogs. The cheftestant has an obvious disdain for all things Rick Bayless ("That’s somebody I don’t really dig as a television personality or a chef."), but he also supports the assumption/theory/spoiler that a woman will win this season, and gives mad props to the local gal: "Out of all the dishes that I tasted, Stephanie and Antonia’s were the strongest."
