Wednesday night (3/5), opening night at the new La Cienega location: We sat next to Gary Dourdan and his gorgeous date. He decided he had to see and be seen, so he sat next to her on the banquette to face the room. Good thing, too: One of the busboys knocked over a soy sauce on to the empty chair, which splashed on my dining partner's feet (and tres expensive suede shoes). At least Dourdan and GF asked if we were OK. George Clooney was across the room, Robert De Niro held court in a booth, and Wolfgang Puck made an appearance.
