Before you head over to Josef Centeno's Lot 1 Cafe in Echo Park for dinner tonight, it's already "closed for upgrades," per Eating L.A. We're not sure what needed upgrading yet; most early reviews---those who take into consideration that the place just opened---are fairly positive. Maybe an early breather was necessary.
