Like so many other publications recently, The New Yorker tackles the topic of the hangover and why there isn't a cure. Since this is The New Yorker, the piece is a long one, natch, but there are quite a few notable factoids: Jews and Asians have low alcohol tolerance, your hangover peaks when all the alcohol has left the body, and pouring buttermilk on your head is a soothing folk remedy.
