Korean BBQ Alert: It's Finally Time for Jian

New, 7 comments

From a frustrated reader last week: "Who else is sick of driving by the almost-complete but never-opening Jian Korean BBQ? At this point, I’d be happy if they take their robots and get out of town already. I’m over the suspense and that Asian dude on the logo is starting to creep me out."

The warrior is scary, we admit, but friends, the time has come: Jian Korean BBQ officially opens next Monday, one week from today, May 26. We've been intrigued with the restaurant ever since we spied the Em Bistro/Solare demolition early last year, and we haven't let up since. A staffer just described the menu as "moderinized Korean barbecue" (here's a preview review), and there's a full bar and specialty soju cocktails. Lunch will be from 11:30am-2pm, dinner 5pm-9pm.
