We haven't heard much from Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne about their new restaurant in the former Hamlet space in Brentwood, but we do have some recent snaps of the location. For those who've never been, it looks like a huge space, at least from the outside, and it couldn't be a better location, right on the corner and very visable. Work is underway---it's completely gutted, and the only table left is covered in blue prints. We believe the architects are Randall/Balyon who did the Abbey and Here among other places. Still no word on the name or concept, but with A.O.C., Lucques and the Hungry Cat in the family, the fruit probably won't fall far from the tree. Last we heard, they were shooting for an end-of-year debut.
