Here we finally have a look inside Jian Korean BBQ (sans Hills obstructions) which piqued our interest from construction to robot sightings to the never-ending debut delays. Only open a couple weeks now, the room is a blend of traditional and contemporary (feng shui and pachinko machines), as is the menu. There's a full bar and a few signature sochu cocktails. Jian's supposed to have "state of the art" smokeless grills, which should make the Beverly Center crowd happy that they won't leave smelling like meat. Oh, and about those robots: Larger-than-life size. More coverage here.
