DOWNTOWN: We can't keep up with the turn-and-burn in the bartending scene, but of note: There's some shuffling going on in the Cedd Moses empire. After some dramz at The Doheny, Marcos Tello---after supposedly getting suspended for letting a blogger blog about her approved visit to The Doheny and going to work at the Edison, only he commented on Eater to say he wasn't going to the Edison---is now bartending at, yes, The Edison. As for other former Seven Grand and/or Doheny bartenders, they've spread out to Comme Ca, Gordon Ramsay and Malo. So what's up with Moses and the mixologists? [Caroline on Crack; photo]
SHERMAN OAKS: Per a Valley tipster, Matt Epstein, one of the owners of Vitello's---yes, the infamous "Robert Blake restaurant" on Tujunga---got his hands on a space on the corner of Ventura and Woodman (most recently Orange Delite) and plans to turn it into an Italian to-go spot called Vitello's Express. SHERMAN OAKS: A second Stone Fire Pizza is planned in the space next to Max on Ventura (currently La Fondue Bourguignonne, which will be closing "in a couple of months"). [EaterWire Inbox]
