State of American Cuisine

The James Beard Foundation just released its first State of American Cuisine, a study attempting to figure out if American cuisine actually exists. They surveyed chefs, journalists, academics and foundation members to discover that there is indeed an "American cuisine," but no one can agree on what it is.
