Interviewing Tom Colicchio for an upcoming Eater feature (stay tuned), we couldn't help but ask the Top Chef judge about next season because they just started taping in New York last weekend (which the Mothership is diligently tracking). All he offered was this: "We had our first challenge the other day and we had some, really really good food. Surprsingly good. As long as they keep this up, it will be a good season.
