Yesterday we brought the news that the newish Mes Amis in Los Feliz was closed due to some sort of lease disagreement, which owner Chip Garamella said it was "temporary." Today, it's permanent. From Garamella: "As we are unable to meet new lease obligations Mes Amis Restaurant is now closed. We deeply appreciate everyone who has supported our endeavor. Until next... Stay Healthy, Chip & Laurence." This begs the question: Since Mes Amis and Cuba Libre split the former Tiger Lily space, does this mean someone will merge the two spaces once again? [EaterWire]
