Presto Changeo: Lift Becomes Hudson Bistro, 86 Now Hush

New, 2 comments

HOLLYWOOD: We, as well as a few readers, noticed that Lift on the corner of Hudson and Hollywood is currently covered in plywood with signage for Hudson Bistro attached. Well, that wasn't long. Steve Adelman opened Lift, the "healthy" 24-hour restaurant that never really went 24 hours (pictured), in September 2007, shuttered in February "for a minor redo," and now this. Per The Guide, Adelman is now a minority partner, and co-owners Robert Palmer and Brenda Phillips are changing things up. Hudson Bistro will have a "New York sports bar vibe" and stay open until 5am daily. 86, the speakeasy-esque supperclub has also been 86'd to become Hush, which will soft open next weekend.
